I could not tell you the figures either. I can tell you that I bought the Springfield Armory XD Ported 9mm and I love it. As for being a poor tactical weapon, I would not use it for home defense due to a possible close quarter fight although he sees the muzzle flash he will feel it too.

As for training and practice it was the best thing I ever bought. There is little recoil on my 9mm. It feels almost like a .22 caliber semi-auto. I have better control and placement of follow up shots. It has improved my aim with other handguns that are bigger and have bigger calibers. There is defiantly a difference.
I also prefer the XDs over Glocks because of their added safety features and they are just as reliable as Glocks.

Puyar I know what you say… do you think thak 7 day are enaught? In Italy you for example you must wait month and mounth ofr having a firearm, and you must pass a phsyco-phisic exam!!

I don't think there should be any waiting periods. I already own several handguns yet I still have to do a 7 day waiting period to buy another one? What the heck is the point of that?

Background checks are done instantly by computer. You are either a prohibited person or you aren’t a prohibited person. The waiting period does not make the background check any more thorough.
