Being avid purchasers of new and used guns for sale, gun advocates and enthusiasts, we are often in disagreement with those who are more than opposed to gun control. We also do our best to keep aware of all of the facts regarding the many myths presented by the media, the lack of intellectual honesty by gun control advocates and usual misunderstanding regarding firearms for sale.
We recently came across a valuable resource of myth-busting facts and information compiled in a publication called Gun Facts. The publication defines myths, provides at least one fact disputing each myth and provides fully cited sources of information to support the facts.
We found the information concerning the availability of guns particularly interesting. It is comforting to know that in America there is no connection between the availability of firearms for sale and the rates of homicide and suicide. In fact, there doesn’t even seem to be an association between more guns being available and higher levels of violence, internationally.
Handguns and pistols for sale that are being sold to responsible gun users and owners do not affect, much less increase crime. Becoming informed, educated and sharing Gun Facts knowledge can also help to ensure the preservation of our Second Amendment Rights.
