I've been wanting an m4 carbine airsoft gun for my birthday and noticed on the site that it says "sales are prohibited in the following states" and Connecticut was one of them. If I go to Dicks sporting goods can I still get one?

What does that mean? There are no “Gun Crimes,” only violent crimes committed by people not guns. We have thousands killed by drunk drivers every year. Should we outlaw cars? Get educated instead of spouting the ignorant party line. As far as illegal? They do not seem to be in Connecticut, at least from the statutues that I read, but I do not know why the disclaimer by Dick’s Sporting Goods.
