if you need to move this pistol ask the gunshop to sell on consignment.

They will price it for you…you can give them permission to haggle with a drop dead price… and the dealer will take 10-15% or so for his efforts.

Much better than taking a hosing selling wholesale or doing a pawn deal.

Selling any gun to any dealer or pawn broker will get you a price well below the actual worth of the firearm, but it is a quick way to get rid of the gun.

If money is a big issue, you could post an ad on Craigslist.com. I would specify selling terms such as: buyer must be a US Citizen, have valid Drivers License, be 18 or older, etc. Check your local laws too, the local Sheriff’s Dept can tell you where to find those. Don’t forget to add a picture.

Personally, I wouldn’t sell it. Put it in a lockbox and forget about it – never know, you just might need it someday.

He is not going to give you top dollar for it. Remember, he has to resell it for a fair market price. If you can find an individual to sell it to, you can ask for a better price.
